Yes, the Dana 44 was used in the MJ, as well as the AMC 20, which is a stout axle with the one-piece axles. The second correction I must add is that the XJ was NEVER used with an 8.8 housing (Chrysler or otherwise). The 2010 King of the Hammers Takes on the World By Chris Collard The first day of racing kicked off with the 4Wheel Parts Last Chance Qualifier. Forty five teams battled it out on a six-mile track, hoping to land one of twenty starting positions in the main event. This year?s course was set up with a hundred miles of full-on desert racing before hitting the major rock trails. The key to winning was to get ahead of the pack and avoid the traffic jams in the Hammer trails. The scene on the Sledgehammer Trail was pure chaos, and thousands of spectators were on hand to watch the action. Running a new Overkill Engineering buggy, 4 Wheel Parts?
